Conference Evaluation
Two hundred sixty seven audience members completed the conference evaluation survey. Reflecting the conference attendance, 99% of those who responded were women.
Publicity
The vast majority of respondents learned of the conference through a flyer in the mail or from a friend or coworker (Table 1) A large proportion checked "other" , however, a few of those indicated that they had received the notice in their payroll envelopes, a choice which was inadvertently not one of the survey choices. Thus, many of the "other" may have included payroll envelopes, a low-cost and apparently effective method of publicizing events of this type.
