Meeting the Conference Objectives

On a five point scale, participants rated the conference on whether it had met its objectives and on their ratings of the speakers’ effectiveness and enjoyment of the dinner. (1=Not at all, 5 = to a great extent or extemely well). Respondents felt that the conference had met most of its stated objectives (Table 2), with 94% and 97%, respectively reporting that it had provided the latest information about diagnosis and treatment and the latest information on genetic risks. More than three quarters felt that the conference had provided reassurance and support for breast cancer survivors and fewer (just over half) felt that it had provided information about local breast cancer resources.
