We are pleased to announce the 1997 Hudson River Designer Showhouse, the third showhouse to be held in picturesque Nyack, New York, benefiting Nyack Hospital (a voluntary, non-profit, acute care medical/surgical hospital serving the Rockland County Community) and the newly created Women's Pavilion.

The Showhouse will run from May 18 through June 15, 1997.

The site, "The Hand Mansion," is an historical three-story Hudson River Gothic Revival house in South Nyack, New York, with magnificent views overlooking a large expanse of the Hudson River. Excellently priced group tours are now available.

Charles Patterson Associates will bring together leading national designers to decorate the mansion. The present owners' ancestor, William H. Hand, collaborated with Thomas Edison on the invention of the light bulb. Mr. Hand was also known for the invention of the Hand Storage Battery.

We are happy to offer a group tour rate of $12 per person (for groups of 10 or more) to view the Showhouse, which includes a copy of the Showhouse resource catalogue. The Showhouse will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, Thursday until 8:00 p.m. Lunch will be served on the premises and a package rate, including admission, will be available.

Group tours can be arranged by contacting Lora Kasny in the Nyack Hospital Foundation Office at 914-353-3333.
