REMEMBRANCE OF ACTUAL BICENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY DAY
TO TAKE PLACE FEB.23, 1998 AT THE ROCKLAND COUNTY COURTHOUSE.
Monday February 23,1998 at 9:30 AM, a remembrance
of the actual Bicentennial date will take place in Courtroom 8 at the RockJand County
Courthouse at 9:30 AM . Judge Alfred Weiner, Surrogate of Rockland County will
preside over the ceremonies which will consig of:
- A presentation of the colors by the North Rockland High
School Junior R.O.T.C. Color Guard
- A greeting by County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoof and
James K. Riley, Pres. Rockland County Bar Assoc.
- A musical selection by the North Rocidand High School
Brass Quintet
- Thomas F.X. Casey Pres. Rockland County Bicentennial and
Rockland County Historian, speaking about the "Role of Law and the Courts in
the formation of Rockland County"
