Joanne Ginsburg is currently the Director of the Haverstraw King's Daughters Public Library. She has been in the library business since 1986 when she became the Community Relations Coordinator at the Troy Public Library.
Joanne has extensive experience in library public relations, fundraising, and political battles for public funding (Troy Public Library, Troy NY 1990-1994).
She is active in her profession and has served as President of the Public Library Directors Association of New York State, Chair of New York Library Association of NY Library Administrators Roundtable, (LAMRT) Board of the Directors Association of the Ramapo Catkill Public Library System, and is the President of the Library Association of Rockland County.
She currently serves on the Board of the EOC of Rockland County Inc.
She has two grown children.
